Everyone is encouraged to gather with us for Christ Church's Annual Meeting and Vestry Elections this Sunday. We'll have just one service that day, at 10:00 a.m. in New Brick. It will be followed by a potluck lunch, our Annual Meeting, and the Vestry Elections.
Please be sure to join us. It's the day that we review our past year's ministries and activities while making plans for our leadership in the coming year, and it's one of the most important gatherings of the year.
Between the 10 a.m. service and our Annual Meeting, we'll have a brief potluck lunch in the Great Hall. Please consider bringing a dish for the potluck lunch, such as sandwiches, salads, desserts, or other easy-to-eat dishes.
Elect Your Next Vestry Members!
Christ Church's Vestry has approved the following candidates for election during our Annual Meeting. They are (in alphabetical order): Ed Chrzanowski, Sara Kirkpatrick, Isaac (Gbenga) Olajide, Kathy Simms, and George Toth. If you will be present at the Annual Meeting:
We will provide you with the necessary voting forms and instructions at church this Sunday.
If you will NOT be present:
You can download a Voting Ballot here, and a Voter Certification Form here.
Print and complete both of these documents.
You can vote for up to four (4) candidates, one for each available Vestry position. Please do not select more than four candidates - any ballots containing more than four votes will be voided.
Place both documents in a single, plain, unmarked envelope (do not write anything on the exterior of the envelope). Each parishioner's ballot and certification form must be in a separate envelope.
Bring your sealed envelope to Christ Church and place it in the provided ballot box, located at the lower level of New Brick. All forms must be brought to Christ Church between 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. this Sunday.
Voting by proxy &/or absentee ballot is not permitted, per Christ Church by-laws.
We will have tellers on campus Sunday morning who will assist any parishioner who may have a need. Please email office@christchurchcolumbia.org if you have any questions.
Nursery Services are Available
Please note that there are no formation classes today, but there will be Nursery services for those who need them. Please bring your child to the Nursery.
