Heartwarming Soups and Smiles
Fall is one of our favorite seasons for many reasons, but one of them is that we get to enjoy so many wonderful homemade soups, pretty much the ideal meal for autumn. Last night, parishioners came out in numbers, crock pots full of incredible soups made from cherished recipes. From squash to plantain, chorizo to steak, tomato to potato, West African peanut soup to Italian Zuppo Toscano, there was something for everyone. Add in some fun group gameplay (if you haven't played Panorama, Take Five, or Sushi Go Party then you are really missing out!), and you've got a First Wednesday Fellowship gathering that was perfect for the start of fall. Thanks to everyone who joined us in fellowship, to Jennifer and Aisha for coordinating all the details, and to every chef who created and shared a tasty treat to warm our bellies!
