Lenten Meditation for Today: Casting Nets

Angling

For the right

Expression

As I write

Is like

Fishing

Some words

Glide gently

Into my mind

Others slip

Away,

And there are those

Which

Simply

Linger.

But when

I cast

My nets

For Jesus Christ,

They all

Become

A conversation

With God.
