Pancakes and Pans!

This year's Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper was a step above the rest. It was wonderful to see so many people of all ages gathering to celebrate the start of the Lenten season, stuff their bellies with delicious pancakes.... and limbo to the celebratory sounds of the pans (steel drums)!

A huge thanks to the Christ Church Youth Group, for presenting a fun fellowship experience for everyone. The room was decorated with Mardi Gras accessories, the food was super tasty, the conversation flowed all evening, and everyone left stuffed and smiling.

The steel drum and music - a first for Christ Church at this event - kept the atmosphere festive and people happy throughout. This brilliant addition brought a distinct Mardi Gras element to the evening.

We were also able to raise additional funds for African Team Ministries and DreamBuilders, as they set up their respective booths to display jewelry, handicrafts, chocolate, tea, and coffee. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
