Pentecost II & Juneteenth - This Sunday

Second Sunday after Pentecost & Juneteenth Celebration

10:30 a.m. on June 19th

Join us for the Second Sunday after Pentecost at Christ Church. We will also commemorate Juneteenth during our Sunday service with a special liturgy that will begin in front of Old Brick at 10:30 a.m., and a meal in the Great Hall of New Brick following the service. We are thrilled that we have the Rev. Canon Christine McCloud, Diocesan Canon for Mission, as our guest preacher.

Juneteenth is the commemoration of the day on June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved peoples in the United States learned of their emancipation. It is celebrated across the United States as the day slavery ceased in this country.
