This Saturday at Christ Church

There are a few events and gatherings that Christ Church is participating in on Saturday, June 1, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and take part!

NAMIWalks Maryland

All Ages

This Saturday, the CEC Health Ministry invites you to join in the National Alliance on Mental Illness NAMIWalk in Cockeysville. It'll just take a couple of hours, but the impact of spreading the word about the importance of mental health can be huge! The Walk is approximately 1.5 miles and takes place at the Hunt Valley Towne Centre, 118 Shawan Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030. If you need transportation or would like to carpool, meet Diane Phillips LaGuerre in the church parking lot at 6:30 a.m., or meet at the NAMIWalk site at 7:00. We have set up a NAMI page for our group, and would love to have as many people of all ages join us.

Come Make Greeting Cards with Us!

Saturday, June 1 at 3 p.m.

All Ages

Have a friend or family member with a birthday coming up? Maybe an anniversary, or a graduation? Present them with a handmade greeting card for that personal touch! This Saturday, the WOCC presents a card-making gathering, and everyone's invited to join us as parishioner Emily Aubin leads us in this fun and creative annual event. The $15. cost covers all materials, and we'll gather in the Great Hall of New Brick from 3-5 p.m. You can pay on the day of, or via Realm (select "WOCC" from the FUND dropdown and write "greeting card workshop" in the MEMO line).
