Wednesday Evening Lenten Supper Series

One of the most cherished traditions at Christ Church during the season of Lent is our Wednesday Evening Lenten Supper Series. We are always thankful to the members of the Spiritual Life Commission, who work so hard to put this event together. This series offers five weeks of insightful and life-enriching seminars on our theme for this year, Be an Instrument of God's Peace - taken from St. Francis of Assisi's beautiful prayer.
The guest presenter for this first week is Bishop Robert Ihloff, Assisting Bishop of the Diocese of Maryland. We begin at 6:30 p.m. with a communal supper in the Great Hall – this week, food is provided by the WOCC - and follow it with the evening’s presentation. We then conclude with a brief Eucharist.
